This Privacy Policy explains how OptiBridge LLC ("OptiBridge," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the OptiBridge platform (the "Platform"). The Platform is provided to you through your eye care practice (the "Practice") so you can explore eyewear options and reserve a visit. By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide the Platform: your name and email address; the appointment day and time you select; and the frame, brand, lens, and related preferences you choose as you use the Platform.
We also collect basic technical information, such as device and browser type, that is needed to operate the site securely.
2. Information we do not collect
The Platform does not collect, store, or transmit your eyeglass prescription or any other medical, clinical, or health information. We also do not collect or store your full payment card details (see Payment information below).
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide the reservation service; to share your selections and chosen visit time with your Practice so they can prepare for your visit; to process your deposit; to send you confirmations and service messages about your reservation; and to operate, secure, and improve the Platform.
4. How we share your information
We share your information with your Practice, so your optician has what they need for your visit. We share information with trusted service providers who help us run the Platform, such as our payment processor and our email and hosting providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform those services.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of others.
5. Payment information
Deposit payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are handled under Stripe's own security and privacy practices. OptiBridge does not receive or store your full card details.
6. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and operational requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
9. Children's privacy
The Platform is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
