Terms & Conditions

Effective May 21, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the OptiBridge platform (the "Platform"), a service operated by OptiBridge LLC ("OptiBridge," "we," "us"). The Platform is provided to you through your eye care practice (the "Practice") so you can explore eyewear options and reserve a visit to complete your purchase. By using the Platform or placing a deposit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About OptiBridge and your Practice

OptiBridge is a technology platform. We help your Practice present eyewear options and let you reserve a visit with a deposit. OptiBridge does not provide eye care, does not fill prescriptions, and does not sell eyewear directly.

All eye care services, professional recommendations, fittings, measurements, and the final eyewear purchase are provided by and completed with your Practice. Any agreement to purchase eyewear is between you and your Practice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Platform and place a deposit. If you are reserving on behalf of another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

3. Reserving a visit

The Platform lets you choose a preferred day and time window to visit your Practice. A reservation is a preferred time, not a guaranteed appointment slot. Your visit depends on the flow of the Practice on the day, and you may be seen earlier or later than your selected window. Choosing a time helps the Practice prepare so your visit goes smoothly.

4. The $50 deposit

To reserve a visit, you place a $50 deposit. The deposit is collected by OptiBridge through our payment processor. It is applied in full toward your eyewear purchase when you complete that purchase through the Platform. The deposit holds your selections and your reserved time.

5. Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds

You may cancel or reschedule your reserved visit. If you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your selected time, your $50 deposit is refunded in full.

If you do not attend your visit (a no-show), or you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before your selected time, the $50 deposit is forfeited and is not refunded. Refunds are returned to your original payment method and may take several business days to appear.

6. Payments

The $50 deposit is processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not seen or stored by OptiBridge or your Practice.

When you come in, your optician finalizes your selection with you and completes the purchase through the Platform, either by processing your payment together in office or by sending you a secure link to finish through the Platform's Stripe checkout. Both your deposit and the remaining balance are handled this way, and your Practice confirms the final pricing before your purchase is completed.

Because your purchase is completed through the Platform, your $50 deposit applies only toward a purchase completed that way. It cannot be transferred or credited toward a purchase made directly with the Practice outside the Platform. If you complete your purchase outside the Platform, the deposit is not applied to it and, except as set out in the Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds section above, is not refundable.

7. Your information and privacy

To provide the Platform, we collect limited information: your name and email address, the appointment time you select, and the frame, brand, and lens preferences you choose. The Platform does not collect, store, or transmit your eyeglass prescription or any other medical or clinical information.

We handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy.

8. General guidance, not medical advice

Any face-shape suggestions, brand information, and lens guidance shown on the Platform are general and offered for convenience only. They are not a clinical recommendation and are not a substitute for the professional advice of your optician or eye doctor. Your Practice is responsible for all professional recommendations, fittings, and measurements.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purpose, to provide accurate information, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems.

10. Service availability and disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep it reliable, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. OptiBridge is not responsible for the eye care services, professional recommendations, products, pricing, or conduct of your Practice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OptiBridge's total liability arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the amount of the deposit you paid. OptiBridge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
